A cookie is a small file a site asks your browser to keep. This one uses them for two purposes. I run adverts on Google, and without a cookie there is no way to tell whether an advert led to somebody getting in touch or whether the money went nowhere. I also keep a count of how many people visit and which pages they spend time on, which is how I work out what is worth writing more of.
What gets set
